I’m in next spring. Would be great to meet you guys and bust up some rocks. I suggest we pick a location where we can set up a camp for the weekend and do different types of shoots. Set up some hunting shot scenarios where the shooter has to improvise a shooting position, firing solution, do 10 burpees, then make a shot in 60 seconds.  :chuckle:

Maybe up in the Table Mountain area?

:yeah:  A drive up site where we can camp a bunch of people for a long weekend and have a long COF laid out with a safe backdrop, preferably where we can run some targets out on a four wheeler and service any that go down. I've got a bunch of AR500 plate of various sizes, t-posts, hangers, tank-traps, lots of different shooting height barriers and such.  Probably best to pick a weekend that where there isn't going to be an NRL/PRS match...and we won't know that until the schedule comes out in January.

I wonder if I could get close with my Ruger 6.5 Creedmoor and Sig BDX system. It would be fun to try!

I would be down if we could have it set up in advance so I knew dates.
Ive got a couple ar500 targets and stands that are portable, sized to the vitals of elk, and a handful of quads I could bring for chasing targets!

Well, I’m limited to 800yds if I am going to cheat with my setup. I got out to 711yds and was able to make 4 consecutive hits on a 10” gong

im playing with the Sig BDX system, it’s not really limitations but that’s the limit the scope will do the work for me
