Meet Maggie our new Lab
« on: July 28, 2019, 12:54:16 PM »
We lost our 13 year old Lab Sam in May. As luck would have it while inquiring about whether the people I’d gotten Sam from still raised labs, I learned of a litter about to be born from some local people I know. They own both parents, who are both good hunters and well mannered family dogs. It was too good of opportunity to wait on, so here’s Lil miss Maggie. She’s the first female dog I’ve ever had. We’re looking forward to having another dog in the family.

Congratulations, and sorry for your loss.

Our little lab is growing up quickly. 6 months old now and 60 pounds already. She’s going to be a little larger than her mama. She’s a good dog and likes being out in the woods with us. Smart as can be and starting to settle down from the puppy “crazies”

Thanks, we’re very happy with her. I hadn’t planned to get another dog so soon after losing Sam, but I’m glad we did

Crazy thing, I had a neighbor that had two labs in a row. The first one was Maggie and the second one was Sam. Both were females though.
Lead em if they're running.

My lab is 5 and we're still waiting for her to grow out of the puppy "crazies"

Don’t tell my wife that. She’s been worried that she’s not settling down enough. I just laughed and told her she’s not 3 yet
