Yesterday and today were still pretty hot.  1/2 mile north of the shipwreck to a 1/2 mile south.  We're done for now.

I’ll be out as well.  3 hr drive home from the airport foiled my Friday trip.

I’m hearing of a reasonable number of coho being caught and the pink cloud is very much still present.

Tons of trailers at Everett this afternoon.

6 in the bag, 3 triples.  We got 2 on one of them and lost the third at the net.  Fish seemed to be really inhaling the hooks today,

No, but I didn’t try hard.  Suspicious fish on the graph at 60’ first thing.

Last hurrah tomorrow for humps and crab. Running koke rods and spoons above the flasher and soaking salmon carcasses for crab. Black RH boats center console. Give us a wave.

Two out of three limits today!
I got two 4-5 lbs pinks, friend with the boat got a two pound pink and a 6-7lb coho, other fried got a three pound pink. Pinks were caught on gear targeting coho green and white hoochies and the silver was on a little pink ace high fly with a 8” white dodger. All about 50-60’ down.
Best day on the water I’ve had in years!
My interpretation of the rules are open to interpretation.
Once I thought I was wrong but I was mistaken.

Anyone else notice tons of soft crab?  I threw back 5 soft keeper sized ones in 2 pots today.  Seems way late for that.

We threw back some of the biggest crab I've ever seen that were soft this year.  I'd bet we threw back well over 100-150 soft keeper sized.  But there was still hard ones out there.  Limited every day except yesterday, but still went 8 for 10.

Wish I knew.  We’re lazy and throw 2 pots on the way to fish.  Most years that gives us 5-10 keepers.  This year we get the same number, but 90+% are still soft.

Lots of soft crab out at Westport too, a couple of weeks ago.
There is not enough wilderness left in the world, or in the hearts of men.

We started fishing at 2 or 230 and fished until about 5. Ended up with seven pinks and got about eight crab on the way in. 2 trolling and the other 5 twitching a white hootchie jig.
