They are thick in the shipwreck area. You can’t drop your gear down to chase chinooks without catching a pink.
I spent 5 days out at Neah Bay last week with Searun and the Pink fishing was odd... Day 1: 90% pinksDay 2: 75% pinksDay 3: 20% pinksDay 4: 10% pinksDay 5: 25% pinksRegardless the fishing was spectacular for Coho. Saw seals, sealions, sea otters, porpoise, and humpbacks were everywhere. One blue shark was sighted and even caught 3 mackerel.
When fish are thick anyone run a spoon just above the flasher? I'm thinking of running the flasher off the ball and clipping in about 5 feet above.

Run your spoon/bait at least ten feet above ball and at least that far beyond the flasher.
