Any luck selling a used RV?
« on: August 02, 2019, 11:57:48 AM »
We’re contiplating buying a different toyhauler. I’ll have to sell or trade my current one in. I’m curious what king of luck people are having selling there newer rv’s outright?

We haven’t really found  one worth buying yet, but I want to be prepared if we do. Also don’t want to sell ours until we have a new one.

I've never had a problem selling a used rv. Fact is I'm in the market for a used toyhauler now, and am astonished at how fast the goods ones that are priced right sell.

Seems the smaller ones command a premium because the amount if people with a tow vehicle that works well are more.

What are you going to be getting rid of?

That’s good to hear. There seems to be a pretty good gap on THs in the 4-10 year old frame.

Tow weks ago we sold our 2006 class A Itasca and today bought a 2007 22’ tow behind. Price it in the middle of blue book range, clean it immaculately, do preventative maintenance and especially write a legible ad with well lighted pictures. The market is excellent righT now. Both transactions private owner Craigs List ads.

Many people, me included like to buy from private owner because you can easily establish the quality of care. If their yard is covered with dead cars and dog poop, move along..... the trailer we must bought was owned by a professional marine engineer - they had it since new with complete detailed maintenance logs for every part of the rig.
