Our WDFW is so awesome, day before they normally sell the tags and no one knows anything.

I asked yesterday and they said it would probably be another week before any thought of a date yet.

Why not a 2nd or 3rd slot like the raffles.  Call and offer requiring an immediate purchase or on to next applicant.  Seems simple enough for elk.
Economy failure = Too many people spending money they don't have on things they don't need to impress people they don't like.

I like this idea for elk.  :yeah: With a little twist- CALL THE HUNTERS THAT PUT IN FOR ELK TO GET DRAWN THAT HAVE MAX POINTS FIRST.

Thanks for the heads up. Apparently I’m not on their preferred email list because I have not gotten anything yet.

Otherwise I will not be trying this year it looks like.  :(

I also got that email, kinda surprised by the number of unpurchased elk tags.

Are these from people who drew, but didn't purchase? I put in for multi elk, but didn't get it.

I love how the email says elk tags are projected to sell out in 5 seconds.  If you're not first in line, a leftover multiseason elk tag isn't happening due to the sheer number of retail outlets and internet connection speed differences.   Given how few multiseason elk tags are leftover each year it sure would be nice if they just did a second draw.  The current process is rather silly.
