I’m with 9 points. It’s a very hard draw but hopefully I get lucky

I wouldn't of thought a MT antelope would take that many pts.  Always figured MT wasn't much for trophy antelope.  Wish I had 9 WY pts for the Red desert units.

I only put in for one unit. If I don’t draw it’s no big deal. I count it as a bonus hunt if I draw. Plenty of units I could have drawn if I wanted to. October is a hard month to get away with my son playing Hight school football and stuff.

I drew one of the toughest units in the state with 2 points a few years ago. Have 3 this year so we will see, if I don’t draw it’s all good I have a few deer tags.

I think rightplacerighttime is right, on their surplus deer and elk tag list it says they will post surplus antelope tags after the draw on 8/8

I’m going antelope hunting in Montana. Only 25 total buck tags for the unit and I have one of them.

There's an area about 60 miles wide towards the western edge of the 700 area that has big bucks.

i drew my antelope MT tag which was a 50% chance with my pts I had so I am happy.  Plus got an Idaho antelope tag so we will be doing 2 antelope, 2 states in 10 days and filming the hunt for the U tube site.
