The guy had an ego the size of Texas and the drive & determination to go with it.  After all the crap that he went through after his spinal stroke, to be killed in a car crash in Canada is not the way he should have gone. I met him once and he was super cool and intense.  Sad.

I loved his shows. Entertaining and he often ended up without harvesting something, so unlike most of the fake hunting shows.

Always did it the Barta way! NO whitetails or stupid Largemouths. loved the guy, wish him the best. We'll go hunt chukar with a bow when I get there! RIP Brother.
