I liked his intensity.. always enjoyed his show because of that.
It’s crazy how a trip down the road can change your life forever!

His grizzly hunt with his recurve and wooden arrows is still the most exciting hunt I’ve seen on TV.

I always enjoyed his shows and he was a showman.. Sometimes that made him disliked but if you look at what he did for the hunting community behind closed doors the guy was the real deal. What he did with his platform after his stroke was pretty cool watching him fight a marlin from a wheel chair was a sight to see.
RIP buddy...

The more days that pass the more this sucks. Yeah he was an arrogant bragger, but he was also a good man who always tried to help the less fortunate. I know a lot didn’t care for him much but I always saw a great side of him. Gonna be missed Tred!

If he wasn’t the definition of determination I don’t know who is. After watching years of his shows where he practically lived on the back of a horse I couldn’t imagine what he would do once he was wheelchair bound. To see him in the field still hunting in his tracked wheelchair or being carried through the brush by friends to get a shot at a treed bear really was inspirational. Horrible way to go, but that’s what I always say to my wife on my way out hunting. I will be safe but at the end of the day I have More chance being killed by a drunk/distracted driver on the way there or the way home then in the woods where I have much more control and ability to react to my surroundings

T.B. was definitely an acquired taste. The first few times I saw his show I thought he was a real jerk.
After seeing some of his shows where he failed to take an animal, or shot an animal that many people wouldn't consider a "trophy", I started to really like the guy.
