Not sure if it is necessary, but it might keep the interesting stuff higher on the list.  Don't know.

One place I'd love to have a functioning ignore option would be my neighborhood.  Bunch of them out there milling around while I was taking apart my washer in the driveway... you know, need the sheet metal for my fence.  Just get a spew of verbal diarrhea from them when these unpleasant hags fly in on their brooms.  It would be so much better if they moved downhill to one of the Seattle communes and play their insurance fraud and drinking games down there.

Love thy neighbor, sure... house is on fire and all that... but I'd pick them for ignore.

Ice, I didn't know you were a third grade sissy.  :chuckle: I guess nobody has made mad enough to ignore them yet. Maybe I'll turn into a third grade sissy if I'm pushed hard enough.  :'( I hope you know I'm kidding with you Ice.

Rumours? Do tell?? Are you saying mods can't see people's ignore list's? Clearly this post shows the ignore list is a flop and at best ineffective.

How does this post prove that the ignore list is a flop?

Who really cares wether or not their is an ignore list.  Just because their is one doesn't mean you have to use it, now does it?  If you don't like the ignore feature on this site than all I can suggest is to ignore it and pretend that it's not here.   :chuckle:

How do you figure that it is a flop?  If someones opinion or attitude bother you then put them on the ignore list and read in peace. With so many different types of opinions on the site there are bound to be conflicts and in the past we have seen how effective it is to keeping harmony on the board.

As far as the rumor comment. We had a perpetual pot stirrer who chose to argue basically the same case you are stating. That member is no longer with us.

Really?? I'm a pot stirrer now because you felt the need to post my ignore list for everyone's view? You still have not answered any of my question, and as far as I'm concerned, you derailed a perfectly good post with my intent of squaring up with a couple people from past threads, you should really practice what you preach, it was a perfectly good post until then. If you have an issue with me personally you should take it up by PM, as I have done, that is supposed to be a policy here also.
