Solo hunters! Where will you be this year?
« on: August 24, 2019, 04:01:03 PM »
Where’s all the solo hunters going to be chasing elk this year? I myself will be back to my go to spot in NE Oregon again from the 6th to the end of season. No good draws for myself in any state, so the OTC is where I’ll be.

I was going to do October Idaho rifle, but like a dummy I waited to buy my tag and they sold out. I normally go every other year. :bash:

Stick and string in the Gem stat for 2-3 weeks (depends when/if my buddy arrows his Toutle bull I’m coming along on during the opening week). Can’t decide which hunt I’m more excited about.

Demand went through the roof when they announced the big price increase for next year

Not solo, but we are packing in North of Vail CO for 2nd season OTC bull elk.  I screwed up and didn’t get my deer tag to go along with it, so now I’m crossing my fingers one comes up on the leftover list.
