Bear curse is over!!!
« on: August 16, 2019, 12:26:46 AM »
Long story short I shot a bear over ten years ago it rolled and took off no blood or anything, never found it. I have been dreaming of getting a bear ever since. After a lot of blood, sweat, prayers and tears I finally connected. A couple weeks ago on Saturday the 3rd I was biking in behind a tree farm gate right around 9 am and I was a mile or two in and a bear crossed the road about a 100 yards in front of me. I got off my bike, grabbed the gun out of the pack scabbard and booked it across the semi open clearing he was headed into. I was able to sneak within 10 yards of him tearing up stumps. I let the old tikka 270 bark and he dropped in his tracks. I still can't believe I finally got it done!

Nice!
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.
