Nice bear, I shot my first bear at the age of 15 with my 30-30 170 gr Rem. coreloks.

Thanks guys! The 30-30 is a underrated caliber IMO. Plenty of animals have been taken with the gun.

It has very similar ballistics to the 7.62x39 AK/SKS round.

30-30 is a fantastic round. Definitely built for west side hunting.
