New WA muzzleloaders laws?
« on: August 23, 2019, 06:45:54 PM »
It sounds like the 209 is now legal for an ignition source. Does the ignition still have to be exposed to weather? The salesman at the local sportsman's store are saying there is no restriction  other than you cant use a scope.

Sorry for stealing topic but I for one think a 1x scope would be great. Have you pulled up a smoke pole on a deer at 100yds with fiber optic sites? I’m 31 and it’s not something I feel comfortable with.

I would trade 209 for a 1x scope all day long

209 primers as well as rifle primers are legal. There are no rules regarding the breach.

ML is still considered a primitive season . If not comfortable limit shots to 50 yds or just hunt during modern season?

Why not just allow a 5x22 night force on a 300 win mag during ml season?

You could go with the double peep site with thin crossairs. One of the companies makes an ultra fine crossair site that is supposed to be super accurate.
