Solid bear! Tell us a story.
About a mile in. Hunting an old favorite spot that burned out hot several years back. Full of fireweed and thistles and thorns. But as typical, elderberries came back strong. Watching hillsides four an hour or so. 7:30 this guy awoke , stood up, and started stretching to feed for the evening. 2 draws away at 300 yards one shot from a 30/06 dropped him on the spot. And what a spot it was. Got on him to gut out, then ran grandson home, grabbed son and son in law and headed back up. Got to him at 12:30, cut him up, and made it back home and laid my head down at 4:15. Work was early at 7:30 and made for a long day lol
