Good luck TomTamer.

Just finished scouting (for the third time this week) a spot for my son this weekend.  LOTS of turkeys.  Public land tho'...  Now we gotta beat the crowds...

I am seeing a lot more evidence of hunters scouting my area for turkeys than last year, the word must have gotten out that I had a flock or 2 to myself :P.                                                    Hey Pathfinder,           I am going to be going after Razor Clams on the 25,26th, and 27th of April, maybe you could tempt her in letting you come out here for them and spend a little time looking for turkeys while you are out here and make the trip worth the gas.  :cmp1:

I would love to go for the slam this year... I definitely have the time for it, but I don't think I'm experienced enough.  If I am able to bag a Merriam on or close to opening day, then I will start doing day hunts for Easterns and plan a trip to the Last Resort for the Rio.

I have the time and the money this year, but this is only my second year turkey hunting so we'll see.

THanx for the offer stik.  I have my National Guard Drill that weekend.  I'll send you a PM if anything changes (like the Army gets cancelled :chuckle:)
