Help with info or possible price on a revolver
« on: August 20, 2019, 08:42:42 PM »
I'm looking for any more info on a revolver I inherited from my grandpa 20 years ago. All I know is what is stamped on the gun. It's a frontier army 44 wcf. Has Belgium stamped on it as well and then a few more marks on the chamber. Any info would be appreciated thanks
Im having trouble with loading the pics I'll keep trying

From a little research - looks like an EL cheapo that Sears and monkey Wards imported for the civilian market as a baddass 6 shooter for all your gun-slingin’ needs! All of these inexpensive guns of questionable backgrounds had one thing in common, great names thought up by the advertisers; “Velo-Dog...Midnight Defender, Apache, Frontier Army...etc.” Build quality was not so great in many cases; they do make neat conversation pieces tho. As far as the inter-web goes, one in good shape sold on gun auction.com for $360. Another guy on a different forum bought one at a flea market for $80. So anywhere between those price ranges would be a safe bet in my humble opinion.
