Sure does! I went to this lake for the first time this year, it was fly fishing only and had a 1 fish limit.

Good late summer and fall fishing in there sometimes. Used to be great, has slid downhill for a few years now. I'd say Pearrygin would probably be best bet for fish, but will be the busiest. Patterson is nice, and has a lot of variety in it.

I wasn’t fishing so I didn’t look it up. Thanks for the correction and good info
Black pine lake is a family favorite.
Anybody know anything about Buszard Lake.?
Quote from: ghosthunter on August 21, 2019, 10:55:32 PMAnybody know anything about Buszard Lake.?Dad has fished it a few times, and it can be very good. It's small and get's warm though, so I'm not sure how the fish bite mid summer. Others worth trying in the area would be Campbell as already stated, Cougar, and Frost. I know Frost has some big fish in it. Not sure on the regulations though. I would definitely look at Black Pine. Doesn't get much prettier setting than that, and lots of cutthroat to catch.
Careful if you try Pearrygin, its big enough that when the wind picks up, it can white cap. Early mornings are usually calm though

Alta lake isn’t far away from twisp! Nice clean campground and facilities. Small enough to kayak on but big enough to have your own space. When I stayed there in June we caught plenty of 14”-16” trout and no gear restrictions!
I see there is a campground at Buck lake. Can I get in there and camp with a 20 foot travel trailer?
If the Lakes are Iced Over, just Hit the Slopes. Doug

Not sure if there are sites big enough for it though. There is plenty of camping in that area outside the campground though.
