Two mouthed fish.
« on: August 22, 2019, 12:47:19 PM »
Caught this while fishing the nisqually near the hatchery  :dunno:
Jaw still functioned normally and seemed to have no problem eating.
Previous injury maybe?

looks like someone cut the throat skin out of your fish.  We used to use crappie throats on jigs years ago.  Just like mini pork rind.

My thought was either someone cut it or it was torn by a hook when younger.
Can't believe the other one has made national headlines  :dunno:

This was my thought, but even if that was the case.. Ive caught 1000's of fish and never came close to injuring a fish that way. Has anyone ever had an initial injury like this happen in result of fishing? Im just curious.
