I am headed over Sunday for three days of senior pheasant.

drove by the release site the other day, if there weren't so many people slobbing the birds right as they fly out of the trailer I might take the dogs, but I hate it.   I usually limit out on wounded birds that can't fly, that someone else shot

Helping out a youngster here on the wet side on Saturday, then headed over to the dry side for the day Monday.  We plan on avoiding the release sites.   :dunno:

good idea  :chuckle:

I'm just irritated because the realise site is like 20 min drive, wild birds are 2+hrs

I enjoyed my first "Old Geezer" early pheasant hunt last year and really enjoyed myself. I plan on several short hunts next week near home this year.

I checked the maps and did not see any release sites near Starbuck, my destination.

I'm leaving in about half an hour to go "play" with 30-40 kids in the Gloyd Seeps.  Sponsored by the local Pheasants Forever.

We are going to hunt on Scatter Creek area.  But I don't know if they will release birds on the South side.  Does anyone know?

I was there today, and yes birds were planted on the south site.
