Testing the Spypoint link micro
« on: August 26, 2019, 03:55:52 PM »
Just set up my two new spypoint link micros. I placed them next to my stealth cams to make sure I am getting all of the animals that actually pass through.

So far the transmission of the images takes about 2 to 3 minutes and the quality is mediocre at best. That being said you get what you pay for.  As long as it triggers on every animal I will be happy.

I have also noticed it is not a wide angle camera by any means.  I am also struggling with false activations and I'm not sure why.  I adjusted the sensitivity down and walked by them.  It seemed to stop the false activations and it still caught me at about 20 feet.

I have a spypoint evo.  The pictures that are recorded on the card are a little better than what is transmitted to the app.

So far my Micros have been much better than I anticipated.  The photo quality on the SD Card is much better than the photos transmitted.  Pretty happy so far.

cell... you can get either a verizon or an AT&T model. Pick which ever one has service in the location that you want to put the camera
