My youngest son, he had a youth doe tag, and I tagged out this last week.  One son is still hunting his tag.

Here is my story.  I gave up hunting 20 years ago when my career demanded all of my time. My son was 9 then and we never shared a day in the woods. I tried to pick it up a few times since but didn't.  Over last winter, we were at his house and he said, Dad, I wish we'd have gone hunting when I was a kid.  No time like the present, so we started planning.  We purchased him a rifle, went to the range, bought licenses and finally set out this year.  I got lucky and a spike walked right up on me by 11am opening day.  I made an amazing 25 yard shot, no, no, hold your applause, and put meat in the freezer.  Today, though, he tagged this bad boy after putting in the time, making a one shot kill and boy I couldn't be prouder.

Share your dreams.   There is nothing the world likes more than the taste of sweet, sweet dreams.
