Great trip this year to northern New Mexico.  First day out of rifle season Oct 1. Clear morning with light wind, worked from top of mountain at 10,700ft hunted a couple of hours with some call locating and ultimately fairly aggressive calling. All to the ultimate success and a very unique bull.

After my New Mexico morning hunt, we processed my bull and grabbed some lunch.  We returned to the field and my brother headed to the other side of the mountain to sit for the afternoon.  He got into a herd around 5:00 and it was an active group, 15 or so cows, a couple spikes and a nice 6x6 herd bull.  After an early failed attempt to get on them he hunkered down and waited to relocate the bull.  Just past sunset he got the shot and took a nice bull.
