RAD broadhead comes through again
« on: September 09, 2019, 04:11:32 PM »
My Oregon hunt ended in a great success! I was able to harvest a nice cow. I had a 52 yard shot on a hard quartering away angle. I hit gut, lungs and broke the offside front leg with a pass through that went 6" into this tree. The recovery was only 62 yards. The pack out was about 11 miles to the truck, so my sanity is in question, but my goats carried it out.  To answer the questions, RAD Ultra Con large diameter/crossbow version, 2317 aluminum arrow, from an older Prime bow at 63-ish#, 158# boned meat packed out.

Bring a GPS!  It's awkward to have to eat your buddies!

Congrats. I filled my tag last night on a cow. I shoot rad sav Delmastro. Full pass through double lung. Broad head held up perfectly. Love those heads. They fly perfectly.

That’s awesome! Congrats sir.
May my presence go unnoticed, may my shot be true, may the blood trail be short.

Amen
