Used to always be ecstatic when bird season arrived. Last January was the last bird that I shot over my lab and I've basically lost almost all my drive to bird hunt now that I decided to end my dog's career in being a hunting dog.

Good luck to everyone this year. I'm done hunting birds for a while but dog definitely enjoys cruising timber and being outside with me when I get to take her even if she's sore after a day of being in the woods
