Possible Anti-Hunters in Weyerhaeuser.
« on: September 13, 2019, 12:32:06 PM »
I went hunting yesterday in Weyerhaeuser through the Delezene Creek entrance near Elma. I parked about a 100 yards from a clearing and started walking. I heard a vehicle coming up behind me, turned around and it was a late 80's white Ford van. They slowed down to the same pace I was walking about 10 ft. behind me. I put my hand under my shirt on my .357. They never saw my revolver. It was a white couple about 65 yrs old. They laughed at me then sped off right into the clearing. Any deer in there were now gone. Saw a side road and decided to walk down it. I was gone from my Jeep for about a 45 minutes. When I got back, there was a 10 inch crack on my windshield. Wasn't there when I left my Jeep. After I drove off, my brakes started getting squishy. I got out and checked my fluid, looked underneath for leaks, didn't find anything. Happened two more times, checked again, didn't notice anything. Being up on a hill with squishy brakes, I decided to call it a day. Started down the hill I got two pumps and my brakes were gone. I put it in 1st to slow down then went into a small ditch to stop. Looked underneath again and someone loosened my brake hose on my right front caliper. Then I noticed my right front shock hanging down. Both bolts were gone. No way all 3 things happened buy chance at the same time. I took some bolts of my cargo rack and got my shock reattached. Put the Jeep in 4-wheel low and crawled down the hill. Made it into Elma to get some brake fluid at a gas station. I reported this to Weyerhaeuser, waiting to hear back from them.

Typical liberal trash.. You could have killed yourself or someone else. The indiscriminate damage to people that could have happened is like that of bombs.

Complete trailer trash scum that should be thrown in jail. :bash:

Glad you are okay.

I've tried to make it a habit of taking pictures of license plates that are parked where I'm at, or in your case, as they drove by, especially if they seem shady, for this exact reason. Gives police something substantial to work with especially if these law breakers try it again.

Glad you're OK.

People suck.  And +1 for reporting it to the police, even if you don't have any hard evidence to give them.  The existence of a report alone can have an effect on their patrol decisions, etc, so it wouldn't hurt.

This is THE MOST IMPORTANT thing you can do! 2 reasons... 1 it documents who is where near you, 2 when you are deliberate and they see you taking thier pic  they will be less likely to pull stuff
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

Yikes!!  Glad you are ok.  Thanks for letting people on here know.  I don't hunt there but if I did, I would really watch out.

That's crazy, and scary! Why in the world would they pull the shock bolts. And if it was anything like the last few sets of shocks I've replaced without air tools, he probably left a blood trail! :chuckle:

Man, having just swapped struts I cannot imagine willingly spending that much effort messing with someone else's stuff. Sorry to hear that happened and that you didnt put your car off the road.

I also hunt in there and if I see a vehicle matching that description I'll get a picture of the plates, just in case. Thanks for sharing this.

My husband works in there often he said he will keep a look out. He mentioned the delzene gate is left open a lot and he thinks they probably don't have a key.
