Youth Pheasant hunt - Westside
« on: September 17, 2019, 08:57:27 AM »
Is anyone planning on taking a yoot out this weekend in one of the Monroe/Duval release sites?  I can volunteer a dog to help them. He may not point, but he'll work close and find birds.

I second this post.  My dogs and I are also available to take a youth out this weekend in Duval.

Is there anyplace else we can post if we're trying to volunteer with the youth/disabled hunt? I'm sure there are people that would like to go, but hesitant without a dog.

Any ideas?

You may get some bites if you post on the PNW Chapter NAVHDA Facebook page. Just an idea, but seems like people are good about networking through that.

I was going to go sit in the parking lot with a sign.  Have dog, need youth!  :chuckle: I found a kid through the youth board, so I don't have to do that.  Might be worth a try.   :dunno:

Sounds like a quick way to get a visit from the police!   :chuckle: :chuckle:

Has anyone heard if WA F+W will be planting birds on the South area of Scattercreek Area?

I was there today, and yes birds were planted in the south site.

Same question for the Duvall sites.  Cherry Valley, Crescent Lake, Still Water.  Are they releasing?
