At some point MT or WY will come out and say they won't charge or prosecute people who shoot grizzlies.  Think of it as a sanctuary state for people.

We hunted there a few years ago and I was up in some steep stuff, look down to see a fresh bear pile bigger round than a soup can. No bear spray but was on extra alert.
I have Man Chit to do

Are you sure that fresh pile wasn't from your brother?

(You can tell him Dan-o asked....   ;-)    )

They should move that bear to the Cascades to help bolster the population there. Washington needs more quality grizzly like this one.

When a bear kills a person it is just a bear doing what bears do and we were in its area.  When a person kills a bear (or anything else for that matter) it is a completely unnatural invasion of the planet that will alter the entire balance of nature.

Like the wolves, I'm sure 80% of the grizzly are doing good things. And that 20% should be moved to the Washington wilderness to live out the rest of their days in peace.
