A very special rifle
« on: September 20, 2019, 08:21:17 AM »
The “Favorite Hunting Story” thread made me think of this story. My dad’s OIL sheep hunt from 2009 was special for many reasons. My dad is the youngest of 4 brothers who grew up hunting and the only one to be able to draw this tag so far. Although they all dream of drawing the tag, they were all able to experience the hunt together along with my brother and I. The story was published in The Othello Outlook November 12th, 2009. Sorry for the small print but the pictures were easier than typing it out.

I wish I had some of my grandfather's rifles to pass down.

Love it, great story! Share that in the story thread, it would be a great addition!
