Oh yeah, I had 3 liters of water with me which I thought was excessive but worked out to be about right! I also left my lunch in the truck so I had to survive on Halloween candy all day that I had pre-loaded into the pack.
The Eberlystock X2 backpack once again proved to be outstanding and with the metal frame handled the heavy load really well (pack empty weight is 5.5 lbs so a bit on the heavy side, but better than two trips!)
And next time I bring trekking poles!
