maintaining wing and tail feathers on bird mounts?
« on: April 01, 2009, 03:14:32 PM »
I have several duck mounts and was wondering if anyone has any tips to keep the ends of the feathers from separating and/or fraying?

Steam them, use an old kettle or a real good iron, steam the tips of them and carefully with a light brush like a makeup brush you can bring them back, do not over steam them,
