Found lost dog - White Bluffs area
« on: September 29, 2019, 12:33:00 PM »
Friend of mine found a dog, looks like a Pug. He was fishing at White Bluffs and the dog was out in the sagebrush by the boat ramp. Took two hours to catch the little rascal, was super scared at first but has settled down now, really nice dog. Hopefully he wasn't dumped there.

If you know of someone that has lost one, drop me a PM and I will give you the guys contact info.

I know that Snohomish county has a lost animals Facebook page...your county might too. Lots of animals reunited that way  :dunno:
Good luck...somebody is probably really worried.

Good on your buddy for saving that dog and good on you for helping to try and find his home.  The coyotes out there are at an absurd level. Surprised he lasted long enough for your friend to find him.

People should at least have a collar on their dog. Its a signal to the rest of us that it belongs to someone and just wasnt dumped off.

A few weeks back a nice somewhat skinny border collie came to the farm in the last light of the day, no collar. I figured someone dumped it. I fed it a bowl of food and left it at the farm as taking it home was not an option. The next day it was gone.

I found out last week that the dog belongs to the neighbor across the valley. Being a border collie it gets bored and runs a bit I guess. Wish that neighbor would put a collar on him...and feed him more...and play fetch with him a bit more.

Ya, that's too bad.  If his actual owner doesn't claim him (hoping the little guy wasn't dumped), is your buddy considering keeping the dog?  Sounds like he's good people and would give the little guy a good home.

Also your friend might call the humane society or local pound and see if anyone has called looking for the dog, leave a phone number and description with them as well

Checked with several local pounds, he left his contact info, no luck yet. Never thought about the humane society, I will let him make that call lol

He brought him into the vet and had a complete check up, teeth cleaning and unfortunately no chip. Buddy is a big dog person and has several Labs already but said this dog is so sweet and good natured that if he can't find the owner he is going to have to find him a good home or keep him. Doesn't have the heart to leave him at the pound.

I think all they really wanted to get across is that people don’t always have to focus on the negative. Your first comment made it sound like you thought he stole somebody’s dog rather than saving it from the local coyotes. Why don’t you prove them wrong in all the things they said and just drop it. Or continue beating a dead horse here and possibly give them more fuel for their assumptions. Have a great day!😀

The whole point of the thread was to find the owner of the dog. This is the lost and found topic not the campfire I assume thats why pointless comments got deleted

Ok, then I apologise for calling y'all out, I figured it got removed for being a little aggressive.  Good luck with finding the owner!
