Anyone running multi pin with a slider?

Setting up a new bow and for hunting a basic 3-5 pin would be fine but I like shooting longer shots in practice so I’m liking the sounds of a slider. Wondering if anyone uses one? Was considering a 7 pin but that might be a bit crowded.

I have a Montana black gold ascent verdict 5 pin slider on both my bows. I set them up for 20/30/40/50/60 and use the 60 pin as my floater for longer shots.  I debated a 3 pin but it’s nice to have 20-60 fixed.

I run an option 4 from option archery. 3 fixed 20, 30, 40 and my slider. It’s been a great sight. You can flip it open if you want to run a single pin as well.

I run the 3 pin MBG. 20, 30, 40.

I use an Option 6 with their oval 8 pin housing. the fixed pins are the standard 20, 30, 40, 50, 60 and I usually leave the floating pin covering the 60 when I'm out hunting. It leaves me the 5 pins I'm use to looking at but I can still dial for the long stuff. With my setup it bottoms out at 110 yards and I'm not using a particularly fast bow. Being able to use it as a single pin is nice when I'm practicing out at the archery range.

I run a Spot Hogg fast eddie XL 3 pin. I set my 3 pins at 30 40 50. My arrows are right around 385 fps and can dial up the sight to 98 yds. One difference with with this sight compared to Black Gold sights is it is designed to use the top pin as the slider pin instead of the bottom pin. You may sacrifice some extreme yardage but you never have to worry about bubble being slightly off when dialed compared to sliding the 3rd, 5th, or 7th pin.

I have never seen these before but I read this and went and looked at it. Very impressive. I might be tempted to run it single pin in most places I hunt shots are close, but then you can flip your fixed pins back over quickly for a longer shot.

I like the idea of a slider but I can't imagine having the time very often to range and adjust and still get a shot

I went to a MBG 3 pin ascent whitetail. 20, 30, 40 pins. that's where most of my shooting is done, but I can dial it out if I need to. So far, I like it!

I don't ever use the dial for hunting but it would be good for 3D shoots.   I currently use 20,30,40,50,60+++   

but I don't find myself going to 3D shoots, nor have a dedicated 3D bow, so I'm thinking about removing 2 pins and going 20,30,40++++    to declutter my sights. 

If I were one of those guys that lob shots from 80 yards (or more) the dial would be great!   but I keep them around 40 or less for hunting, but practice to 80+

Trophy Ridge Hotwire is another option. Working well for me. 3 pins with one that moves, I leave them at 20, 30, 40
but have the 3rd pin marked out to 90 yrds at 56 pounds DW. I prefer less pins to keep my view clear.

I run the Fast Eddie 20,50,60.  Use the trick pin from 50 or less unless in know the animal is inside 20 yards. 60 runs all the way out to 100 yards on my dial.  Love the simple nature of the sight.  Helped with some minor target panic issues.

I installed the ascent verdict 3 pin this year and like it. I have the pins set for 30 40 50. I haven't set up the slider, yet.
