Porky pics
« on: April 02, 2009, 08:51:44 PM »
Here are couple of pics of a porky that I took today before I ended his career of eating sheds.  It was funny, he kept trying to backup and hit me with his tail, but could not see me when backing up, so he would stop and turn to see if I was still in his path and then turn back and start backing up while sweeping his tail.
I've hunted almost everyday of my life, the rest have been wasted.

Really?

When I was over hunting in Ione a few weeks back a person there told me that the local Indian's would pay up to $200. for them.  They use the quills in their native art.

No *censored*?  Seems a bit extreme for an animal nobody really cares about and there's not really too many laws regarding them.

Who knows, the guy could be full of it.  All I know is what he told me.

Two seasons ago my dog fetched one and set it down at my feet when looking for a downed bird. No brain no pain I guess  :bash:
