Help Needed Mt View Cow Tag

Hey guys, I'm an idiot. 

I put my dad in for the Mt View cow tag and didn't realize we can't hunt the public northern part of the unit. Now I'm short on time and looking for any good info to help him get a cow. If you know any landowners who allow access, please let me know.

are you able to hunt the grouse flats public land area?

Yeah, the grouse flats area should be open to us. I'm thinking the elk will get pushed out of there pretty fast though since there are a lot of tag holders and it's only a square mile.

Anyone else have any helpful hints? With 40 or so tags each year I would assume some members have hunted this tag? Thank you
