My best bull right after newborn baby
«
on:
October 10, 2019, 08:48:34 PM »
With baby Easton due on the 8th I didn't have much hope of getting a bull this year but with an early arrival for baby on the 1st and an amazing wife who knows my passion for hunting, it was game on. After 4 days of hunting with a few close encounters and then spooking a small heard early this morning, it seemed like the season was coming to an end very quickly. Little did I know that 45 minutes later I would get a 140 yard shot at this beautiful bull. Thanks to the love of my life for staying home with the toddler and days old baby so I could have this opportunity.

Congrats! I shot my first bull 1 week before my son Easton was born 5 years ago. Trying to get cell service and chasing elk can be tough
Sounds like you got a good woman, and a full freezer!

Nice! Lots of special ladies around this bunch. Long ago my father in law held his grand child at age three days so our group could do a muzzle hunt. 150 mile drive with a new born, good times

Congratulations on the baby and the great bull. Did you find a good taxi for that bull?
