After missing a year in the high country due to back surgery last year I was blessed again with a nice alpine blacktail buck. I can't even describe how grateful I am to the amount of grace I have received through my faith in Jesus and all that He is. To God be the Glory! Again.

I was really torn on whether or not to take this deer on opening day. I deliberated for 15 to 20 minutes. Sometimes the circumstances of the hunt are of the most value.

Another nice buck 3nails. Nice mass and he looks like he might be regressing. A solid mature buck. Is is just me, or does he look to be in the same gene pool as your last buck?
