So just picked up a new trailer, 2004 desert fox.
Got it for a decent price, was a little bit dirty inside, and needed new mattresses, and some minor repairs on the rear bed lift system.
I had budgeted 10k to buy a toyhauler, but ended up dealing a bit and picked this up for 5500$, so I got a little money to play with now!
Trailer already has 1 year old toyo open country ht tires.
I'm already planning on adding 2 6v batteries, and i've already got a nice inverter generator.
Trailer has a new roof put on this summer, and all major systems have been checked by sumner rv.
So, what are your must do mods on travel trailers/toyhaulers?! I'm thinking a smaller inverter to run a few powered things off grid. Possibly a small solar panel to maintain batteries when in storage. Some sort of grip tape or sanded paint for traction on the ramp.
Were going to re-upholster the couch, ditch the dinette and put in 2 euro recliners in its place... lots of stuff planned so far to make it ours!
So what's your favorite mod, tip or trick?!
