Cougar down in Unit 121
« on: October 16, 2019, 09:48:10 AM »
My friend Adam and his 1st cougar.  I called this cat in on August 31st day before season.  Adam saw it but had to let it run off as I walked up the game trail I spooked it right by him.  It came out only 20 feet from me according to Adam and I had not idea.  WOW!  He called it in again on October 11th from the same stand and sealed the deal.  Little kitty but saved some future fawns, etc.

Big enough for a matching fur hat and some mittens. Not to mention an easy pack out.

I did a poor job resizing those images, but I am tired and I refuse to fix it tonight.

I will suggest it to him.  He is from Texas and I called in a nice Rio Tom for him in the Blues this past spring.  It was his 1st Turkey as well.
