Request: Mt Spokane Youth Hunt
« on: October 16, 2019, 08:01:18 PM »
This is my 9 year old sons first year deer hunting. Hes covered lots of ground mule deer hunting, but hasnt had a shot yet. We will be hunting Mt Spokane GMU thurs and fri 10/17-10/18 to take advantage of the youth any whitetail hunt. We have one spot lined up and will get a paper company permit, and I have onx. I would love to have other options if anyone is willing to point to any good areas or have land you would allow a youth hunter to shoot a doe.
Thanks for any help!

I've been looking for the same for both of my kids.  I think we are going to concentrate more on the late season.  Does anyone know how much the IEP permit cost?

If its in your budget the IEP pass opens up options even if gates are closed. But there is a lot of state ground, I would throw out a little alfalfa and sit on it, a doe should come in pretty quick.

A huge thanks to beauhunter! He got us on land to hunt and even provided a blind and pointers. Unfortunately my son didn't get any shots off over the two days we hunted but he really enjoyed it, and we had a great time. Thanks to everyone for their help!.

 Is it over?
