Found rifle
« on: October 22, 2019, 09:05:28 AM »
A buddy of mine found a rifle leaning against a tree in the Conconully area last week.  If you know of anyone that lost it have them shoot me a PM and I will put them in touch with the finder as long as they can describe it.

Thanks.

Whew, that was a close one. The last thing we all need is a prototype left in the woods. Next thing you know they start mass producing, and organize a counter attack.  :chuckle:

The good news is that they apparently haven't mastered the art of ammunition making yet. It was unloaded. ;)

It occurred on the sane side of the state, not in King or Pierce county so I think it's safe.   :)

:yeah:  Do be careful about the transfer. Your friend(s) might be well-served to take it to an FFL or the police.   :twocents:

When you pack in a chair, heater, beer cooler, booties, magazines, cigars, and a female companion, it's easy to leave something behind. Roughing it is difficult.

I found out how it happens the other day :(

Got back to my truck in the dark, unloaded rifle but keys were buried in my pack (anal about not loosing keys, Id be screwed no cell)

Set unloaded rifle on my tire in between the big lugs so it wont fall, offload my pack in the bed, root around for keys, start truck and make sure seat heater are on cause my lower back hurting from all the boot miles, move oack to the front cause its rsining, sit in the seat a bit resting and organizing sll my new waypoints.. ....

Drive off, hear a "thump" wth was that?

Oh carp!

I made it 50 feet, but first time I ever done that.
