Thank you!   No, I spotted him.   A blind squirrel even finds a nut once in awhile.

There are three doe there too, lol.   They went left, he went right when I snuck up on them.

You know the drill.  Hes a potential calendar buck.  I got a good broadside of him staring back at me.  He is a gorgeous 5x4 with more mass than you really can appreciate from this photo.  I was pretty shocked when he looked at me.  I was like whoa nelly!  If he gets "bumped", Ill get it posted up.

Awesome photo! I love (and sometimes hate) their ability to disappear like that!

Shouldn’t these be posted in the “photos/videos” section?

Shouldn’t these be posted in the “photos/videos” section?
I post deer  pics in  the deer section and bear pics in the bear section.  If Im doing sunsets or insects or garden shots or specific photo threads that include all of the above such as From Behind, or fenceline, or skyline, or ..... I'll do it in the photo section so other photographers can contribute.

Do you pick up a deer magazine and find nothing but articles, but find all the pics in a photo magazine?

I hope that helps.   I dont mean for this to come off as snarly.  I get asked this at least once a year, so I might as well bust it out this year.    I pay over a 150$ a year just for the use of photobucket so I can share to you all.   I could quit photobucket and use something else, but then every photo I have ever posted on here will disappear.   Maybe that wouldn't matter???
Anyways, thanks for looking.  I'm sorry if where this photograph was posted bothers you.

THanks Sky.  He was our kind of deer
