No More!
He cost me two beehives. Looks like he got into some green paint. I'm going to see if I can clean it off. What do you think of a bear vest?
Anyone who asks, I took the tag off in preparation to skin him.

"Oily substances such as cooking oil, mineral oil or petroleum jelly can help soften the paint so it can be removed easier. Simply soak the area where the paint is and allow it to absorb for a few hours. Then sprinkle some powdered starch to help absorb any liquified paint and excess oil."

Nice bear! In the future an electric fence can prevent more hive losses, it’s worked for a few keepers I have spoken with.

Didn't work for me. Really their coats are so thick, they won't feel it unless it gets them on the nose or mouth. I was always told to hang some bacon off the hot wire, that way they'd get zapped for sure. I never tried that.

Watched a guy run a successful huckleberry and fireweed honey operation for years in the mountains. He used hot wires and alarms.  Came back for many years so I assumed what ever he was doing was working.

That bear is what is known as a Greener.
There are tons of them hair matted, liberals roaming the West Olympia area.
Most attend the Evergreen State College and live on their mommy's trust fund money from Grandpa and Grandma's estate.
Get a second tag and dispatch another.
