Faded MT licenses
« on: October 28, 2019, 04:17:19 PM »
So, I just pulled mine out of the kitchen cabinet and was surprised it completely faded away and the only thing left on my license is my signature.  The tags are semi-legible but clearly faded.  Apparently the yellow paper sucks and they are replacing them for free at a regional office or you can go into a retailer, pay $5 and then submit to get your $5 back from the state.

Either way, I wanted to help avoid people getting all the way to camp or to an animal on the ground before you found out.

I heard about this awhile ago but I've been busy with Elk hunts and deer hunts for the last month. Got a little nervous when it crossed my mind today as I am getting my things together to leave Thursday ... it looks fine and isnt faded but is there still a chance that they wont hold up in wet weather? or am ok if its not currently faded?  :dunno:
