Mt Spokane second deer tag access???
« on: November 03, 2019, 05:39:28 PM »
Hello. I will be heading over this next weekend in hopes of filling  my second deer tag. If anyone has access to private property that they wont to be hunting or wouldn’t mind taking another doe off of it would be great if you would private message me. I also still have two turkey tags so would love to help someone out if they have birds pestering them. Good luck to all who still have tags to fill. Looks like I will need to cut up some veggies to throw in the pot with my elk  tag this year.

Well there are a lot of people reading this but it must be all the other people starting similar threads since I still have 0 responses. I also have the ability to bring a muzzle loader or my bow if you are in a firearm restricted area or are just concerned with shooting a rifle on your property. Thanks in advance for any advise and or access

Yeah I definitely know what you mean. Definitely a tough go and without prior relationships with people makes it even harder.

Yep. That is the plan if/when I don’t hear back from anybody on here. Been looking at Google earth at a few different spots trying to figure out the escape routes. Like I tell my son when hunting on public land it’s more important to try to figure out what the other hunters are going to do then what you think the deer would normally do. We had a rather unpleasant experience opening elk morning with a couple hunters who obviously skipped the  Common sense/etiquette section when they learned  to hunt. Hopefully we can at least avoid that this weekend and have some positive encounters with the many hunters I’m sure we will run into

I think the Inland Empire Paper land around Mt. Spokane is in your hunting area.
They offer passes to enter their land. There's several different access points.
Near Thompson creek above Newman Lake is one, or from the backside off the Elk- Blanchard highway.
It might have other hunters, but if you put in some boot miles it could pay off.
Good luck!
