Potential wa record on the hoof
« on: November 04, 2019, 04:32:57 PM »
A big buck I got on this morning.  Here is to hoping I can find him again tomorrow.   AND...that the damn air conditions improve.  I think he could eclipse an archery record....

I hope you get some good photos and find his sheds!

Do you think he is a migratory or resident?

I find great comfort in knowing a deer of this magnitude is alive on the landscape and spreading his genetics.

That is interesting, in 2016 when I had my late Entiat tag, the day I shot my Buck there were Deer everywhere. The next day when I went back to retrieve the rest of my Buck I did not see a single Deer!

I found him one more time, but he was too far away.   I’ve looked twice more and struck out completely due to fog the first time and just couldn’t find him again.   He was replaced by a different buck, maybe a year younger but similar frame.

I think I will be redirecting my efforts.    I have one pic I don’t particularly like, but my editor thinks I should have in the Calendar.

Sort of I suppose.  I don’t ever recycle bucks for my calendar, last years buck etc.  it’s full bore freshies!   and I don’t use images I’ve released.  All original content.  I’d like to think of it as you get more than what you pay for versus, a gimmick to make you buy.   If you just view on here I’m sure you’ll eventually see content of most bucks I film.

My wife says take next year off as I have enough bucks for three calendars right now. Lol.  What fun would that be.
