Looks like the weather is shaping up to be good for the late BT season. Hope the forecast doesn't change

I'll be guiding (already notched My tag) for the first time in a few Years. Shooters will Be My hunting partner Zack (Never got a Deer) , My middle boy Carson (second year hunting), and a couple of his friends. We plan to hunt all four days (My absolute favorite time to Blacktail hunt). I just love being in My honey hole looking for Deer and hope to find My Boy His first Deer.
Starting to pack the trailer tomorrow and We roll out Wednesday after work. I have service in camp and will Keep you all updated. 505 and 510 can't wait!

Got this fine fellow on one of my cams a few days ago. He was definitely on the chase.

Extremely excited for late season rifle - I took PTO and I'll be hunting every single day of it. Really hoping for my first deer!

Not much daytime activity that I've seen, but typically it is right around today's date that they really show up on cam during the day.  I'm still catching bucks dogging does at night on my cams at home.  One of the backyard bucks got taken out by a car down below the house late last week at last light.  Saw another almost get hit earlier that day by the car ahead of me.  Funny how people are so unaware that deer are on the move right now.  Every year they pick off the bucks in the same areas as they cross the road.   Frustrating!

RE: rattling in late buck season:  Rattling can be productive into December.  The dates of this late season are the best that I've seen since I started hunting - seems like four days earlier than typical.  Should be good hunting, especially with some rain coming in.  Good luck out there!
