Pierce and/or Kitsap County Cougar Hunting
« on: October 16, 2019, 01:55:48 PM »
I've got a cougar tag burning a hole in my pocket. I've tapped out my hunting time with my turkey trip so I'm hoping to be able to get setup near home to reduce the strain on my wife with the chitlins. Anybody in the Pierce or Kitsap area need a cougar removed or plan to do some hunting and need a tag along? This is my first year with a tag so I'd love to get some time in the field with an experienced hunter. I provide gourmet rootbeer.
I laugh in the face of Danger. Ha ha ha Danger Face!

When I lived in Sequim, I had landmarks on the mountains where I knew if the previous system's snows had come down to the road levels...… you'll likely figure out the same kinds of viewpoints when you look up into the mountains after a snow!

Have the cougar calling kit all ready to go at a moments' notice for a sighting report.

Both scenarios are extremely time sensitive.

Hope you find a good hunting companion.

Weather forecast has snow coming all next week. Got my fawn bleat and some goretex overalls. If anyone hears or sees any cougar activity in the area post it up. GMU 627. I've heard there are cougar around Anderson Hill Rd. in the Port Orchard area. I'd love to get one on the Key Peninsula or the Purdy/Gig Harbor area.
