Ya I haven't heard any thing about a big bear. But saw a few going over the pass a few times this year. The truck I fro t of us almost ran one over that jumped right out of no where lol.

Heard of a 500# bear was taken near schnebly but that was a month or so ago

Yeah I would love to see the picture. I’ve gotten a couple little over 300 pounds  that were big so I can’t imagine what an actual 500 pound bear would look like. There was a  450 pounder that was actually weighed with guts in it at a taxidermy shop in Lewis County. it was freaking huge. In his prime with probably 6 inches of fat on its back

Wow that's awesome. A few years back a 700 pounder was hit by an off duty deputy near my house. A lady I used to work with, her brother got to see it in person and he said the pictures didn't do it justice.
