 Cabela's 1600.

I liked the last pair of Hodgon but cabela's was a lot cheaper and their warmer.
Always carry a small roll of duct tape in hunting bag.

Cabala's 5 mm chest waders they where about $100 bucks I have had the same pair for 5 years with no leaks.  Prior I used Hodgmann's and had to replace those about every 18 month between ducks and fishing dmg

Coasth
Hey, that's great I'm glad to hear your going to be warm next trip out. I know what you're talking about and I don't remember where I heard it :dunno: but I feel your pain :) I have to go into town and get something to patch mine before I go out again. I know what to look for now and I'll get what I can (or tube).
I have killed a few pair on repairs
I always get the pair with the warmest boots.I always have a few pair of the foot and hand warmers in my hunting kit but never do any good wet. I hunt the desert so I get into the Russan olives a lot and break a lot of ice this time of year. I have to say the 1600 from Cabela has been the warmest so far.

No I don't but I'll go into town tomorrow and get some but thanks for the offer. Sisu, gave a web site for some good stuff on my thread need some help patching waders. I don't think I can get it in town and would have to order the stuff but this time of year I'm afraid of it freezing. I'm 2 miles from the mail box and ups don't deliver this time of year (too slick) The guys offered some follow up items to try so I should be able to get it patched . It's a small 1" spot where it's pulled away from the stitching.
I didn't notice it untill I got in the float tube to retrieve the decoys.
